After spending her adolescence remodeling and transforming anything her parents would let her, Lisa studied architecture at a vocational high school.  She went on to study Interior Design with the Rhodec School of Interior Design and the London Guildhall University.

Having been in the industry for almost 20 years, she loves the challenge of finding just the right design for her client. “I’ve seen so many homes and businesses in my career that not much surprises me anymore. I can usually visualize several potential designs right as I walk into a space but the challenge comes from getting it right for that one unique client.”

Her background in custom millwork led her to manage many high end commercial and residential projects throughout the east coast. “I’ve been privileged to work with creative architects on some pretty spectacular projects.  None of them were easy to execute (especially in places like New York City) but I learned more about construction, materials and project management in four years than many do in an entire career.  Being exposed to that level of detail, originality and high expectations has definitely made an impression and helped shape my design style.”

Living in Durham for the past 15 years, most of her projects are for clients right here in the Triangle. “In the end, regardless of budget, we all want a home and business that reflects our unique tastes and values. One where we feel comfortable and at ease; where everything has a place.  I love my work because I get to help people create that sense of home every day.”
